About the Sugar Rush series
The current Sugar Rush line starts with the game Pragmatic Play announced on 30 June 2022, a 7×7 cluster slot whose winning cells remember their wins. A marked cell doubles its multiplier when it wins again and steps up to 128x per cell, and the marks persist through the free spins round. Wins form as connected groups in the manner described under Cluster Pays, with refills through the tumble chain.
A Pragmatic Play game of the same name existed in 2015, but the studio’s 2022 announcement presents its game as a new release and never references the older one, so the working history of the series starts in 2022. The sequel confirmed the series treatment in writing. The Sugar Rush 1000 announcement of 18 March 2024 calls itself a supercharged sequel building on the multi award winning first game, raises the spot cap to 1,024x and states wins up to 25,000x.
A Super Scatter edition joined in January 2026 under the studio’s news feed, with the heavier trigger the studio has rolled across its franchises. The spot mechanic itself is the position based branch of Increasing Multipliers, and it remains the series signature that no stablemate shares.
Between the two main entries the trade is stark. The first game caps cells at 128x and the game at 5,000x on shorter odds, whilst the sequel multiplies both limits and stretches the odds to match.
