Gates of Olympus Series
Gates of Olympus is Pragmatic Play's mythology series built on counting grids, tumbles and multiplier orbs whose caps grow with each edition.
About the Gates of Olympus series
Gates of Olympus opened on 24 February 2021, by Pragmatic Play‘s own announcement, and built the template its sequels still follow. The game runs a 6×5 counting grid where 8 or more matching symbols pay from any position, cleared wins refill through Tumble & Cascading Reels, and Zeus throws multiplier orbs onto the board. In the first game the orbs carried 2x to 500x, and 4 scatters opened 15 free spins with a progressive total multiplier.
The sequels scale the orbs rather than rethinking them. Gates of Olympus 1000, announced on 14 December 2023, doubled the orb cap to 1,000x and restated the maximum at 15,000x. Gates of Olympus Super Scatter, announced on 28 April 2025, attached instant payments to a heavier scatter of the kind described under Super Scatter, with a stated 50,000x maximum. A Pop edition followed in August 2026 under the studio’s news feed, and the series also lends its name to a live casino wheel.
The underlying win system is the one described under Pay Anywhere, and the family resemblance across entries is total. What changes are the caps, the odds behind them and the entry prices, all published per game.
Across the entries reviewed here the default return holds at 96.50%, so choosing between them is choosing a tail rather than a price. The first game offers the shortest odds at the smallest cap, and each edition since moves both numbers outward together.
