What ELK Studios disclosures say

ELK Studios is a Swedish studio founded in 2013 and based in Stockholm. Two entities stand behind the brand. ELKAB Studios AB carries the British licence, number 40844 on the Gambling Commission’s register as verified on 25 September 2026, whilst ELK Studios Malta Ltd holds a Malta B2B licence issued in February 2019, and Romanian registrations complete the published set.

The studio describes its approach as quality over quantity, and no release schedule is stated. A count of the public games catalogue on the same date found 157 game pages, with new titles announced individually and dated on the homepage. Demos open directly from the official game pages.

ELK’s habit is grid invention. The Pirots series sends collecting birds across a counting grid and has run to five numbered entries plus variants, whilst the Toro, Cygnus and Tropicool lines rework other grid ideas across sequels. Feature transfer between series is common, so a mechanic proven in one line reappears refined in another.

The studio’s most distinctive fixture is X-iter, a menu of predefined entry modes priced as stated multiples of the stake. The larger modes are a feature purchase in all but name, and the smaller ones resemble an Ante Bet, so the whole menu is unavailable to players in Great Britain under the rules that have excluded purchases since October 2019.

On the numbers the record is thinner. The official game pages do not display RTP, and the site says nothing about RTP versions, so the figures for each ELK game catalogued here are drawn from the game’s own published rules and carry their dates. Where a value is not published at all, the page for that game says so.
