Sweet Bonanza Series
Sweet Bonanza is Pragmatic Play's candy series on a 6x5 counting grid with tumbles, from the 2019 game to the 25,000x cap of the 1000 edition.
About the Sweet Bonanza series
Sweet Bonanza predates the rest of Pragmatic Play‘s counting grid family. The launch announcement of 25 June 2019 described a sugary 6×5 tumbling slot with free spins from 4 scatters and potential wins up to 21,175x, and the game became the studio’s template for the format. Symbols pay by count from any position, and candy bomb multipliers strike during the bonus.
The first sequel arrived quickly, with a Christmas edition announced on 28 November 2019. The substantial upgrade came on 3 June 2024, when Sweet Bonanza 1000 restated the game with multipliers up to 1,000x, a 25,000x maximum and a published default return of 96.53%, alongside an ante option and two priced entry routes. A Super Scatter edition has since joined the studio’s front page, and it carries the heavier trigger described under Super Scatter.
The house mechanics are the ones described under Pay Anywhere and Tumble & Cascading Reels, shared with the Gates of Olympus line, and the two series differ mostly in costume and in the shape of their multipliers. Sweet Bonanza drops its factors as bombs during the round, whilst its stablemate lands them as orbs with a running total.
The odd fact of the series is the first game’s 21,175x figure, an unusually precise cap the studio printed in its own launch text. The later editions round their limits, publish their odds, and leave the 2019 game looking like the sketch a large franchise was drawn from.
