About the Big Bass series
Big Bass is the fishing line from Pragmatic Play, produced with the Reel Kingdom studio. The first game, Big Bass Bonanza, was announced on 14 December 2020, and its formula has carried the series since. A 5×3 payline base game feeds a free spins round where fish carry printed money values. The fisherman wild gathers whatever is on screen, and each 4th wild climbs a multiplier ladder that tops out at 10x.
The mechanics are the pairing described under Cash Symbols and Collect Symbols, and the series is the clearest long running example of both. Later entries change the wrapper and the caps rather than the engine. The studio’s own announcements track the growth, from Big Bass Bonanza Megaways in November 2021 through Big Bass Splash in June 2022, Big Bass Bonanza 1000 in April 2025, Big Bass Boxing Bonus Round in June 2025 and Big Bass Blast in July 2026.
Seasonal editions run alongside the numbered ones, with Halloween and sporting versions restating the formula in costume. Pragmatic Play does not state a count of series entries, and the line grows several times a year, so any figure would date quickly. Within the series the published returns vary more than the design does. Big Bass Splash prints 96.71% whilst Big Bass Bonanza 1000 prints 96.51%, and the money value caps run from 5,000x to 20,000x across entries. A player choosing an entry is mostly choosing a cap and a price, because the round itself behaves the same way throughout.
